E.L.F. Glitter Nail Polish from their Target Line

Hi Everyone! (^ω^)

I was browsing around Target about a month ago when I spotted a display of E.L.F. products. What caught my eye were the nail polishes. They were all pretty fall colors, and the packaging was adorable!

The color I decided to pick up was the gold glitter polish (they don't have names (´・_・`) ). It is a pretty sheer color that work wonderfully over other nail polishes.

I used the polish over NYC polish in Mulberry Street, which is a pretty champagne color, and I love the combination. It's the perfect gold glitter nail. 。◕‿◕。

I'm not sure if these nail polishes are still in stock at Target, but E.L.F. has another nail polish called Golden Goddess that looks exactly the same!

Kao Liese Bubble Hair Color in Sweet Pink

Hi everyone! ( ^∇^)

I have heard a lot about Liese's Bubble Hair Dye, and was tempted to try it out myself. Here is the basic history of my hair. The first time I dyed my hair was about 2 years ago. I used a light ash blonde hair dye from Garnier Fructis to dye my hair brown, and it initially looked great, but after re-dying with the same hair dye for a little less than a year, I found that the color of my hair was turning brassy. At that point I just dyed my hair back to black and haven't dyed it since then. So it's been about a year since I've dyed my hair and it has been cut and gone back to its natural virgin color and a healthier state. (^v^)

I've been loving the reddish hair colors for fall and winter, and I wanted to make my hair color a little less dull, so I went to Kao/Liese's website and checked out what reddish colors they had available. I looked at this chart:

and I decided to go with sweet pink, which is the lightest color in the Pink/Red Brown series.
I have extremely dark hair naturally, so I picked the color under the series that would give me the most lift.

So I went ahead a made an order on amazon.com and then received my the boxed dye a week later “ヽ(´▽`)ノ”

The box comes with the developer, hair color, nourishing creme, gloves, and a patch for allergy testing.

I do usually perform the skin allergy test (I know I'm paranoid (。-_-。)) but I say that it is always better to do what you can so you do not have to constantly worry. The instructions explain how to do the allergy test. I went ahead and swiped the mixture on a small patch of my arm and let it dry. 48 hours later there was no irritation, so I was okay to continue on!

I always start off by getting what I need ready. So I got some petroleum jelly so rub around my hair line to avoid staining and a clip to section my hair off.

I brushed my hair so there were no more tangles and I went ahead and started.

The box I got came with both Chinese and English instructions. They are very easy to follow. The foam was super fluffy when I was dispensing it from the bottle, but as I rubbed it into my hair I noticed it was not becoming foamier. I got a little nervous because I thought I wasn't doing it right.
I was just think to myself OMG NOOO ヽ(゚Д゚)ノ
Even as I continued to apply more foam, it was not noticeable in my hair.

I just hoped for the best! Afterwards I waited for 30 minutes then rinsed it out and took a shower afterwards and washed my hair with shampoo and conditioner. (It says on the instructions to use shampoo, so your scalp doesn't get stained, but I would recommend using a gentle shampoo!)

So here is the before:

Sorry, excuse my "I just woke up and I haven't washed my hair in two days" look. (^_^;)

And here is the after:

I quite like how it turned out :) I was a little scared during the process because my hair wasn't foaming up, but I guess it's possible this color or the box I got just didn't produce as much foam. It might also be because I have really long, thick hair. One bottle was enough, but I wouldn't have minded a little more just for a more even coverage. I did get some subtle hot roots, so next time I will make sure to do my roots last instead of first.

Overall I like the dye and I would repurchase it. It does dry out your hair quite a bit, but that is nothing a deep conditioner can't fix!
